The Wave Point Surf Leadership Initiative was born out of a need to raise and develop future leaders using surfing as the vehicle.
It's a leadership program that focuses on character development and finding your God given purpose and vision for life.
Surfing is a fun, healthful, physically and emotionally stimulating activity that is the perfect sport to incorporate and impart these leadership skills.
It teaches patience and tenacity and instills confidence. Surfing is all about the individual; it builds a young person's confidence organically.
Through the Surf Leadership Initiative we want to train young surfers, who will become more self-assured not just in the water, but in their day-to-day life.

I am so blessed to be a part of the Surf Leadership Initiative.
Surfing has had a massive impact on my life over the past 13 years, I've met so many amazing people, and have had the greatest opportunities.
I am so excited to bring to light the vision that God has placed on my heart to raise up the next generation of leaders through surfing. I look forward to walking a journey with these amazing young people and be there with them to experience the amount of joy surfing brings, and how it'll impact their lives.
It's a passion you will never want to give up.
They are going to shine for Jesus through this journey.
